Dr. Winfried Czempiel, born in 1947, studied chemistry at the Free University of Berlin and completed his doctorate at the Max Planck Institute in Berlin. He then worked at Schering in the drug approval department, which he took over at the end of the 1990s.
Since the founding of Zambesi Health in 2016, he has been a founding member of the Zambesi Health e.V. association and is responsible for its finances.
