The tricycle, a cargo motorcycle ordered in Lusaka in July, was delivered at the beginning of October 2018 and arrived in Kazungula. The superstructure made at our request proved to be too bulky and impaired driving safety. It was reduced in height. A grid was also installed so that the milk churns can be transported safely. The air-cooled single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 200 cm³ delivers 7.2 kW. A transfer agreement is currently being drawn up with the cooperative. The cooperative also wants to use the tricycle to collect milk from more distant dairy farmers and bring it to the milk collection point for cooling more quickly.
